Wonder Girls To Perform At 同一首歌 in Korea Open Concert

The representative music program of China, 同一首歌 (literally translated as The Same Song) will make their way to Korea next Thursday, 18th December at the Kintex Hall in Ilsan from 6 – 10pm (KST). This will be a great opportunity for singers to promote themselves to millions of viewers in China and also the world when it is broadcasted on television (delayed telecast).

‘Tell Me’ dance a big hit with fellow stars

There are no signs that the infectious ‘Tell Me’ dance by Wonder Girls are abating after first coming to prominence more than a month ago. 

The easy rythmn of the song plus cute dance together with the adorable appearances of Wonder Girl members has seen the popularity of the song transcend all age boundaries. The popularity of the group and song are rocketing by the minute. And it’s not only just the netizens who are learning ‘Tell Me’ dance but even fellow stars are finding it hard to resist it themselves.

Ever since the video of Park Jin Young showing off the ‘Tell Me’ dance moves on the internet became a hot topic, others like Sung Yu Bin have done a rock version of ‘Tell Me’ on MBC Show Survival and even the six hosts on Infinity Challenge have also performed ‘Tell Me’ dance. Those videos have been searched for many times and rank among the top searches on the internet.

Following Shin Hye Sung who held his encore concert on Nov 11 and performed ‘Tell Me’ dance with Wonder Girls who were his guests, singer Yangpa will also be performing ‘Tell Me’ dance on Nov 24 at her own concert. It’s predicted that the interest for ’Tell Me’ dance would remain strong and become a cult favourite for fellow stars.

The Nov 12 broadcast of KBS 2TV program, “Chattering of Beauties”, saw Uzbekistan beauty Jamilya dancing to ’Tell Me’ music to tremendous reception and it was only her first appearance on the show. It later emerged as a hot search term on various internet portals after netizens started searching for Jamilya’s ‘Tell Me’ dance clip.

Singer Younha has also performed ‘Tell Me’ dance in a live radio broadcast at Boom’s MBC radioshow, ‘Fun Fun Radio’. The video was later uploaded to many UCC websites and garnered lots of views.
